Family Reunification: Reunited

Family Comes First

You have built a life in Spain, but something fundamental is missing: your loved ones. The distance from your spouse, your children, or your parents should not be the price of a better life. The right to live as a family is fundamental, and Spanish law recognizes it.

"True prosperity is not measured solely by professional success, but by being able to share life with those you love. Family reunification is not a procedure, it is justice."

The Right to Reunite with Your Loved Ones

Family Reunification is a temporary residence authorization that allows family members of legal residents in Spain to reunite and live together. It is the legal recognition that family is a fundamental right, and that your integration in Spain cannot be complete without your loved ones by your side.

Family Members You Can Reunite:

  • Spouse or domestic partner
  • Minor children or dependent adult children
  • Parents and ascendants in your care
  • Minor children of the spouse
