Non-Resident NIE: Your Economic Key in Spain
Invest Without Living Here
Do you want to buy a vacation home on the Spanish coast, open a bank account, accept an inheritance, or incorporate a company, but don't plan to live in Spain? For any of these economic operations, you need a tax identification number.
"You don't need to be a resident to have interests in Spain. The Non-Resident NIE is your administrative identification to operate legally without changing your residence."
Tax Identification for Foreigners
The NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) is personal, unique, and exclusive. The assignment of a Non-Resident NIE grants you this number for administrative and economic purposes, but it does NOT authorize you to reside or work in Spain. It is purely a tax identifier.
Simple and Remote Procedure
At Legal & Cloud, we facilitate this process, even without you coming:
- Notarial Power of Attorney: If you are not in Spain, we can process it with a specific notarial power of attorney.
- Justification: We draft the memorandum justifying the reason for your request (purchase and sale, notary, etc.).
- Obtaining the Certificate: We deliver the official certificate with your NIE number ready to use at the notary or bank.
The Goal: Operate with Freedom
Buy, sell, inherit, or invest. With your NIE, the doors of the Spanish economy are open to you.
