What this authorization is
The Highly Qualified Professional authorization allows a Spanish company to hire foreign talent for qualified roles. It is processed under Spain's international mobility framework before the Large Companies and Strategic Groups Unit (UGE-CE).
It is not granted just because the salary is high. The role, salary, candidate profile and company evidence must fit together.

| National PAC | Executive, technical or specialized roles requiring higher qualification or equivalent experience. | Clear match between role, salary, profile and company structure. |
| EU Blue Card | Highly qualified employment with a firm offer and specific qualification/salary requirements. | Salary threshold and formal qualification rules. |
